Our story
Mira’s journey started from her love for making and creating. For as long as she can remember, she’s been drawn to craftsmanship, the kind of work that takes patience, skill, and care. With over 25 years of experience in upholstery, furniture making, and fabric tailoring, what started as a passion grew into a family studio built on trust, dedication, and pride in the details.
Her journey began in the early 2000s, back in Greece. In search of a fresh start, Mira discovered the possibilities hidden in a sewing machine and a few upholstery tools. What started as an experiment quickly became a lifelong calling. She realised she could give tired furniture a new life, preserve pieces full of memories, and at the same time create her own designs from scratch. For Mira, every chair, sofa, and cushion wasn’t just an object, it was a story waiting to be told, and she wanted to help it continue.
Years later, that vision has grown into Miracle Couch UK, now run side by side with her two children, Jozef and Nikoleta. Together, they bring their own creativity and ideas into the mix, blending Mira’s experience with a fresh outlook. As a family, they design, restore, and handcraft furniture and bespoke cushions for homes, cafés, and restaurants across London, from Teddington and Kingston to Chiswick, Kew, Richmond, and beyond.
